Daniel Pylman is a partner at Brennan Burtker, LLC and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Pylman has extensive experience in all phases of litigation including motion practice, all forms of discovery, developing a trial strategy, and trial itself. He has dedicated his practice to defending health care providers of all types against claims of medical negligence. Mr. Pylman also has extensive experience in representing clients in commercial litigation and before various regulatory bodies.
Mr. Pylman is a graduate of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, where he double majored in History and Theological Studies and graduated summa cum laude. He received his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he served for two years on the Chicago-Kent Law Review, during which time he authored an article and served as a Notes and Comments Editor. He also served as a Teaching Assistant in both Torts and Real Property and received the highest grade in the class in Employment Discrimination, Evidence, First Amendment Theory, and Trial Advocacy. During law school, Mr. Pylman gained valuable experience clerking for two prominent plaintiff personal injury firms. He was also given the opportunity to participate in several criminal trials while serving as a law clerk in the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office with the use of a Supreme Court Rule 711 license.
