Brennan Speaks on Legal Privileges in Medical Malpractice Litigation at One of Chicago’s Top Children’s Hospitals

Brennan recently participated in a panel discussion on legal privileges in medical malpractice litigation, and presented a lecture on the unique privileges conferred through the federal Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act to one of Chicago’s top children’s hospitals. Mr. Brennan provided his insight and opinion on how federal plenary power can afford greater protections to quality improvement investigations through Patient Safety Organizations than more traditional state privileges invoked in Illinois courts.
