Mitchell Seldal joins the firm as an Associate Attorney on December 1. Mitch is a recent graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law School, where he graduated cum laude in May 2021 and served as Senior Editor of the Penn State Law Review. His impressive academic accomplishments include an academic scholarship to Penn State and the CALI award for Introduction to Health Law. Mitch also has impressive academic accomplishments in his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska where he earned his B.A. with honors in Political Science and English.
Elaina Valtierra-Doherty joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in September with four years of experience at a similarly sized defense litigation firm where she obtained vast experience with all aspects of defense litigation, including medical malpractice litigation. She graduated the University of Illinois College of Law in 2017 with an excellent GPA where she served as the Associate Editor of the Elder Law Journal, Teaching Assistant for Advanced Appellate Advocacy, President of the Woman’s Law Society, and member of the Latino/Latina Law Student Association. She is currently Vice-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. During law school, Elaina worked as a Mayoral Fellow for the City of Chicago’s Office of Mayor.
Michael Lee joined the firm as a new Associate in September. Mike graduated from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law, where he earned an impressive GPA and was awarded “Best Brief” in the Brooklyn Division for his legal writing as a member of the ABA National Moot Court Traveling Team. He also contributed to the Ohio State Business Law Journal where he served as Comment Editor. Mike received 2 degrees cum laude, a BA and BS, from Loyola University in Chicago before he attended law school at the The Ohio State University. Before his legal career, Mike was a jury research analyst and taught in China between college and law school.
Collin Pellettieri also joined the firm as a new Associate in September. Collin is an impressive graduate from DePaul University College of Law where he achieved an outstanding GPA concentrating in Health Law and was Captain of the Health Law Moot Court Team. Collin completed his undergraduate education at Indiana University where he majored in economics and was awarded Executive Dean’s List honors.
