Walter R. Deering
Walter R. Deering is an Associate Attorney at Brennan Burtker LLC who joined the firm in August 2023. His practice concentrates in civil litigation with a focus on medical malpractice defense.
Mr. Deering received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, in May 2023 where he graduated magna cum laude.
During law school, Mr. Deering was the admission’s editor for the Illinois Law Review, and he earned CALI’s in Legal Writing and Analysis, Business Associations, Real Estate Finance, and International Human Rights. Mr. Deering was also a judicial extern for the Hon. Judge Myerscough in the U.S. Central District of Illinois and before law school was an intern for U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin, Congressman Wm. Lacy Clay, and a field organizer for Betsy Dirksen Londrigan for Congress.
