Evan R. Fitzgerald

Evan R. Fitzgerald is an Associate Attorney at Brennan Burtker LLC. He concentrates his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense.
Evan joined the firm in April 2025. Prior to joining Brennan Burtker LLC, Evan worked for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, where he amassed valuable litigation experience while representing State agencies and officials in complex legal cases.
Evan was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2023 after receiving his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While in law school, Evan served as Articles Editor for the Indiana law Journal, competed in the Law & Economics Center’s Invitational Antitrust Moot Court Competition, and earned Oral Advocacy Honors for his participation in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition.
Evan received his B.A. in Political Science from Purdue University in 2019.
