Stephanie M. Schumacher
Stephanie M. Schumacher is an Associate Attorney at Brennan Burtker LLC where she concentrates her practice in medical malpractice defending physicians, nurses, and hospitals.
Ms. Schumacher joined the firm in September 2023. Prior to joining Brennan Burtker LLC, she was an associate at a boutique law firm where she successfully represented clients in medical malpractice, wrongful death, and civil rights matters. Ms. Schumacher has extensive experience in civil litigation including motion practice, conducting and defending depositions, and trial preparation.
Ms. Schumacher received her Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in 2019 with a certificate in Trial Advocacy. While in law school, Ms. Schumacher was a member of Moot Court Honors Council, a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient, and she participated in the DePaul University College of Law “The Theory and Practice of European Law” study abroad program in Madrid, Spain. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2019.
Ms. Schumacher earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Arizona in 2013.
She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Chicagoland Healthcare Risk Management Society (CHRMS), and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI).
