Brennan Burtker is proud to announce that the Illinois Appellate Court – Second District recently affirmed the firm’s pro bono trial victory for a defendant in the Circuit Court of Lake County. The matter involved two consolidated actions surrounding a family dispute over monies allegedly owed. At trial, Brennan Burtker proved that the first action was moot, and that a full defense existed on the merits to the second action. The Appellate Court agreed with the verdict and affirmed the trial court.
